I am not a diet or fitness guru. I am just someone who has had success in losing a great deal of weight in the last year. I have spent a considerable amount of time reading diet and fitness magazines and websites. I decided to start this segment on the show because I wanted to share the secret to my success. Like many people, I have tried all the diets and taken all the pills that have helped me slim down and then regain the weight I lost and more. What I have learned in this last year is that the trick to losing weight and keeping it off is exercise everyday, make sensible choices when you eat, and start saying no to the things that will make you fat; of course, during the holidays you can cheat a little, but eat very small portions of the bad things and DON’T stop exercising everyday.
